Franklin County gets the ‘W’ over Western Hills 59-47

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - The Franklin County Flyers grabbed an early lead on crosstown rival Western Hills and never looked back defeating the Wolverines 59-47.

The Flyers football phenom Fred Farrier showed he could get it done on the court as well scoring a team high 13 points. Zac Cox pitched in a dozen for Franklin County (2-3) as did Max Mulder.

The Wolverines, which fell to 2-4, were led by big man Walter Campbell who had 22 points.
